Responsible for all aspects of CHCWM’s patient financial policy with includes verifying insurance, authorizing chemotherapy treatment, estimating the cost of therapy and providing counseling to patients and family about covered services and financial responsibility, and collecting patient payments.  Ensure the financial feasibility of treating each patient in our clinics by communicating and working closely with patients, physician, nurse and social worker. Maintain knowledge of collection techniques and collection laws.

The nurse practitioner is expected to exercise prudent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care and seek appropriate counsel as necessary with collaborating physician(s).

Location- Spectrum Health Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital (Grand Rapids, MI)
Schedule- 3-10 hour shifts one week, 4-10 hour shifts the next week. Every other weekend.
