Education

Our staff is actively involved in educating patients about their diagnosis and treatment. We believe a well-informed patient can make more qualified decisions, which is essential to successful treatment and long-term adjustments.

All new patients meet with a registered nurse before starting treatment to discuss their treatment regimen, potential side effect, side effect management and therapy schedule. New patients are given folders with written information on chemotherapy, side effect management, eating “hints” and details about blood counts.

For more information about chemotherapy drugs, visit the drug library.
