Data Manager/Regulatory Support

This position is responsible for collecting, transcribing and transmitting/submitting clinical data for multiple investigational drug studies performed.

Phlebotomist

Performs phlebotomy and finger stick procedures for the purpose of obtaining blood for laboratory analysis. Primary laboratory representative with the public.

 

Location: Johnson Family Cancer Center (Muskegon, MI)
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am-1:00pm; Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm

Financial Coordinator

Responsible for all aspects of CHCWM’s patient financial policy with includes verifying insurance, authorizing chemotherapy treatment, estimating the cost of therapy and providing counseling to patients and family about covered services and financial responsibility, and collecting patient payments. Ensure the financial feasibility of treating each patient in our clinics by communicating and working closely with patients, physician, nurse and social worker.

Maintain knowledge of collection techniques and collection laws.

Helpdesk Technician

As a Helpdesk position, you will be responsible for maintaining user uptime and improving computing experiences through effective remote problem identification and resolution. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service. You will receive tickets indicating a user support request, and you will identify and resolve issues. The requests may involve working with other resources and vendors to deliver effective support services. You will then provide ongoing technical support and follow up with clients.

Location: Corporate Office (Grand Rapids, MI, with regular travel to Holland and Muskegon)

Pharmacy Technician IV

Provides technical assistance in the preparation and charging of medications and supplies under the direction of the Pharmacist.  Processes, enters, and interprets physician orders, under the direction of the Pharmacist, and delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas.  Mixes complex sterile (including cytotoxic) products, using aseptic technique and performs special projects for the department.

Location: Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion (Grand Rapids, MI) with travel to our Muskegon, Holland, and Lacks Cancer Center locations.
Schedule: Variable Days Mon-Fri; 24 hours/week

Pharmacist

Responsible in the operations, inventory of the pharmacy.  Assures pharmacy products quality and compliance with legal pharmacy standards.  Supervises technicians in the preparation of sterile IV administration, and daily maintenance of pharmacy.  Provides clinical pharmacy services though drug information, billing assistance, and patient education, to the professional staff.

Location: Lacks Cancer Center (Grand Rapids, MI) with travel to our Muskegon, Holland, and Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion locations.

Midlevel Provider- Outpatient

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

The mid level is responsible for the comprehensive medical/ nursing management of assigned patients. The mid level is expected to exercise prudent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care and seek appropriate counsel as necessary.
