Registered Nurse

Provides quality cancer care by assessing and monitoring patients, formulating a nursing diagnosis and prioritizing problems.  Engages the patient in mutual goal setting and developing a plan of care in collaboration with the physician and other members of the health care team.

Medical Assistant Scribe

Facilitates the clinical staff-patient encounter by assisting with the clerical activities essential to the office visit. Helps the clinical staff maximize his/her clinical role improving patient flow and satisfaction. Medical Assistant Certification is required.

Medical Office Assistant

Covering front office general clerical duties. Answering phones, filing, making appointments for full time staff that are out of the office for vacations or call-ins.

Location: Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital (Ludington, MI)
Schedule: On Call

Midlevel Provider- Inpatient

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Under physician supervision, the mid level provider is responsible for the comprehensive medical management of assigned inpatients in the hospital setting. The mid level provider is expected to exercise prudent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care and seek appropriate collaboration as necessary.

 

Location: Butterworth Hospital (Grand Rapids, MI)
Schedule:
Week 1- Monday (12 hour shift); Tuesday (8 Hour shift); Wednesday & Friday (12 hour shift)

Week 2- Monday (8 Hour shift); Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday (12 hour shift)

Week 3- No scheduled hours

At least 2 holidays per year- one 12 hour and one 10 hour

Nurse Manager

Provides direct patient care through the identification, implementation and evaluation of care built on nursing diagnosis and focused on goals mutually set by patients and families. Provides clinical expertise to nurses and the staff who partner with nursing to provide cancer care services to patients and families.  Oversees management of the Clinical Supervisor, site nurses and medical assistants.  Represents nursing in corporate initiatives to enhance care delivery and positioning in the health care environment.

 

Location: Lacks Cancer Center (Grand Rapids, MI)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm- Two days working infusion; three days management
