Medical Assistant

Psychologist

 

Provides diagnostic and therapeutic psychological interventions for cancer patients and their families treated at CHCWM. Acts as a resource to team members related to psychological issues and the development of a team intervention approach, where appropriate.

 

Location: Lacks Cancer Center (Grand Rapids, MI) & Holland Cancer Center (Holland, MI)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday.  Flexible Schedule.
Part-Time or Full-Time (under 30 hours per week to 40 hours per week)

START Infusion/Treatment Nurse

The Treatment Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals who are participants in research protocols that are conducted at START.

The Treatment Nurse uses appropriate professional judgment and decision-making in planning and providing care. Nursing care is to be delivered in a manner consistent with the Standard Operating Procedures and standards of practice, and professional evidence based standards.

Infusion experience required.

Midlevel Provider- Inpatient

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Under physician supervision, the mid level provider is responsible for the comprehensive medical management of assigned inpatients in the hospital setting. The mid level provider is expected to exercise prudent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of care and seek appropriate collaboration as necessary.

Financial Coordinator

Responsible for all aspects of CHCWM’s patient financial policy with includes verifying insurance, authorizing chemotherapy treatment, estimating the cost of therapy and providing counseling to patients and family about covered services and financial responsibility, and collecting patient payments. Ensure the financial feasibility of treating each patient in our clinics by communicating and working closely with patients, physician, nurse and social worker.

Maintain knowledge of collection techniques and collection laws.

Director of Pharmacy

Summary
Oversees and leads operations of the pharmacy department. In addition, provides leadership and coordination of all pharmacy departments at all CHCWM clinical sites. This includes both retail and infusion services.

Location: All CHCWM Locations
Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (However, as a salaried employee comes the expectation that the schedule and hours worked remain flexible to meet workload demands.)

Registered Nurse

Provides quality cancer care by assessing and monitoring patients, formulating a nursing diagnosis and prioritizing problems.  Engages the patient in mutual goal setting and developing a plan of care in collaboration with the physician and other members of the health care team.
