Lab Personnel
Lab tests are an important part of your cancer care, so we are committed to having experienced, compassionate testing personnel on staff. Our warm and friendly staff treats patients with respect and empathy, while at the same time ensuring the most competent handling of tests and draws.
All the Cancer & Hematology Centers of Western Michigan testing personnel have received bachelor degrees and are certified as Medical Technologists by the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Our phlebotomists have at least five years of draw experience. In addition, our laboratory staff is tested yearly to ensure continued competency.
