Pharmacy FAQs

Q:  How do I order a new prescription?
A:  During business hours, you can drop off your prescription at any of our pharmacy locations or call your nearest pharmacy.

Q:  How long does it take to receive my prescription?
A:  For medication refills, we request 24 to 48 hours’ notice to have your prescription available at the facility.

Q: How do I refill my prescription?
A: Please call your pharmacy.

Q: How much will my prescription cost?
A: The cost of your prescription will vary based on which medications you need and what your insurance covers. Because drug pricing changes on a daily basis, your final cost cannot be determined until your claim is processed.

Q: How can I pay for my prescription order?
A: CHCWM accepts all major credit cards, check, cash or money orders. If mailing payment, please do not mail cash. If you can’t afford the out-of-pocket cost of your prescription, we may be able to help through co-pay card assistance, patient assistance programs or other support and charity organizations.

Q: How can I safely dispose of my medications?
A: Click here to view a list of medications that can safely be flushed down the toilet. If your medication is not on this list, please visit this link for a list of locations by county that will properly dispose of prescription medications for you.
