Oncology Nurses Reach Out
The Oncology Nurses Reach Out (ONRO) charity fund was started by a patient named Dottie Bouwman who wanted to make funds available to patients struggling with the day-to-day needs of being a cancer patient. Through Dottie’s dream and the kind and generous donations we receive, we will be able to reach out and touch and brighten the lives of many of our patients. Donations will provide comfort, caring and relief to patients and help reduce the stress, strain and trauma of the diagnostic and treatment process. Donations are given to patients in the form of a phone card, gas card, money for medications or a gift certificate to a grocery store.
You may be eligible for other types of financial assistance which are diagnosis-specific. Please feel free to ask to speak with one of our social workers if you would like further information.
