Gilda’s Club is the local source for cancer support. Gilda’s Club offers free social and emotional support to men, women and children with cancer, as well as to their families and friends. Members attend support groups, lectures, workshops, seminars and social activities with the goal of learning to live with cancer, whatever the outcome. Retreats

Reeling and Healing: A non-profit organization that provided rehabilitating weekend retreats for women recovering from breast cancer, with a central focus of teaching the skill of fly-fishing--a sport for life. For more information, call (616) 457-1185.

Camp Bluebird: a retreat designed to give participants time to reflect, share and learn about coping with cancer. Campers also take part in a variety of fun recreational activities. Camp Make-a Dream offers cost-free getaways for children, teens and young adults with cancer. Set in Western Montana, Camp Make-A-Dream campers experience a range of activities from swimming, archery, hiking and fishing to crafts and cabin chats.
