Your Care Teams

You care team is dedicated to providing the best possible care, in a way that meets your needs.

Treating cancer is a team effort. Our care teams are organized around your specific needs, to provide the care that’s right for you and your family.

Teams consist of highly trained professionals who work together to deliver your care.

Your personalized care team

Care teams typically include:

  • your physician
  • a chemotherapy/biotherapy-certified nurse
  • a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
  • a medical assistant
  • lab technicians
  • a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
  • a financial coordinator
  • a social worker

Depending on your treatment plan, your care team might also include a behavioral oncologist to help with the mental and emotional aspects of cancer or a radiation oncologist.

Orchestrating results

Many factors go into treating cancer. Your care team members are the ones who bring all the pieces together, in a way that’s best for you.

That’s what we mean when we talk about orchestrating results.

Your needs, concerns, and goals are crucial. In many ways, the most critical member of your care team is you.
